My fiance and I were looking into having a company build a house for us. They have houses they can build ranging in prices. We are looking at one that's under 1500 sf. Do houses like this normally get put together faster since they use the same models?

Do you have an idea of how long it would take? We will be renting an apartment for at least 6 months prior.

If the weather is good and they are working steady can do it in les than a month but 2-3 on average around here. The builder should be able to give a very good estimate. If you live in a colder or rainy region could take longer.

It depends upon your location and who's doing the building. In my experience, houses in Austin, TX are fully built within 6-8 months from the point they break ground for a foundation.
