I agree with the other person who answered... you do need to have an actual person and a real reason. But, presuming that you have both, I would start by filing a police report and then off to the magistrate court for a restraining order.

the only why you can get a restraining order on someone is to go down to the police station and file out a report on them. and it really depends on what they are doing like stacking, attempted murder, abusive, and sexual harassment were be the main reason they would give you a restraining order on the person.

Local police department. But be ware some restaining orders work and sometimes they do not. If this person is really bad just remember to take further action to protect yourself.
