I'm male. I've moved in the somewhat recent past. I can get a date now and then with the opposite sex, but I've had a hard time making guy friends to socialize with. Any suggestion on how to make guy friends?

ive been asking the same question! only, in my case, im female.
try getting into some male activity. male friendships are usually activity oriented, so if youre into a sport or something, and hang out at a local sports club often, you should find someone.

Just be yourself and guy friends will come. I'm a girl but i have guy friends too. Don't be shy, and if it seems that they don't notice you or talk to you, don't bother to make the first move. You might just earn a guy friend by doing that!

Guy friendships are often based more on doing something in common together, so meet guys through your hobbies;
e.g.,:
-Sports like tennis, golf, racquet ball
-Going out to bars or concerts together
-Outdoorsy stuff
-Playing video games
-Being a drinking buddy

Join the boxing or karate club, then have a drink afterwards.
The older you get, however, the harder it tends to be to make friends, especially if you disagree with the liberal agenda that many have bought into.

ii have just moved school myself about 3 weeks ago i absolutly hated iit..x let them no that u are fun to be around. Be your self and dont waiit for them to start talking to you.x
Find Out what they talk bout ask them for some advice on anything

Take up a "masculine" hobby, anything that involves risk will suffice. Shooting guns and climbing mountains works for me, and I have a friend who likes to drive fast cars, and that works for him. Be creative, pick something you like, and go from there.

if you mean guy friends as in not a boyfriend, then join some sort of sport thing, ooooorrrrrr get involved with some sort of hobby place or something like that.

u just have to get to know ppl. its hard to explain i know but if u are into some type of sports or gym it might help u find ppl or mayb u will find them by somethng u are into
