What ever happened to, "...When they stand up, we'll stand down." Will your grandchildren be driving up and down the cracked, potholed pavement of the Iraqi highways getting blown to snot? Some of my students, kids I've know since they were in fifth grade, are now moving into their military service years. Two of my former students are already dead in this war. Exactly what does this Bush Junta want and why do they want it?

We are still in Germany and Japan, and Korea. We wouldn't be talking about a permanent arrangement if the Iraqi's didn't approve of it. Well we have 200,000 soldiers there? No but we'll have a presence. Don't believe everything the media and liberals who have an agenda, tell you.

Always bear in mind that we have an all-volunteer armed forces. Everybody serving in the military wants to be there.

Furthermore, I am in the military, and all of the members that I have talked to returning from Iraq believe in the mission and want to see it though. You dishonor the memory of our lost heroes when you post crap like this.

Lastly, if we pull out before the right time, that whole region will be engulfed in a bloodbath. Iran will back the Shia, and the other gulf states will back the Sunni. That is not an opinion, that is a FACT. If that happens, we'll be back in 3-5 years, and it'll be even worse.

You are not a strategist, so just let the professionals do their job. Just because you didn't vote for Bush doesn't mean he can't be right about something once in a while.

This is part of the neocons agenda for a new world order and has always been part of Bushes plan. The US is building a $500 million embassy in Baghdad expressly for this purpose.
It is one step of a master plan for US global domination.
A National Intelligence Estimate created by that very same Bush Administration says the war in Iraq is creating more terrorists than it's killing.
And now the Bush Administration wants permanent occupation!
What kind of bizzaro world do these people live in?

The U.S. public through media manipulation now believes that their best interests are best served by not allowing any challenges to the planetary-wide exercise of this unbridled power. And, you, boy, had better shut up or ship out. This unbridled power now turns against the faces who still believe democracy is possible, a democracy of, for, and by the people, not the corporations.
