I use prophet.net or ThinkorSwim. I can type in the symbol there into a chart and see the option price history.

In fact w/ prophet.net, it'll show the option price graphed with the stock price too, but it is a subscription service.

Yes, there are ways to retrieve historical prices. If you know someone who uses a bloomberg terminal, then they can retrieve historical options data. I think Bloomberg terminals have 2-3 years worth of data, but I forget. I know there are some other proprietary programs like Reuters Bridge Station and Market Watch SDS that have similar features. Other than those, I'm not really sure what you could use.

I have never been able to find historical prices of options. You on line broker may have them. If I am interested in options pricing behavior I save the data on expiration day.
