Lived in Japan for 5 years.

Some of the coolest people around.

Of course they do have their jerks, just like everywhere else.

I never really like to generalize a race because people are all so different, but from the Japanese people that I know, I would say that they are really nice. My best friend is Japanese and she is really intelligent and wonderful and fun to be around! They all seem to be quiet at first, but when you get to know them they are funny, sweet, and smart. At least, that is just from the Japanese people that I know.

Yes, I have been to Japan, they were all nice and seemed like great people!!!!!!! I went to Tokyo, and I really enjoyed the food, music, and everything about the culuture! It is a beautiful and wonderful culture and I would give anything to go back to Japan. I lived there for five years, and they were the best years of my life! I made many great friends and I miss them sooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never been to Japan, but had a Japanese friend who was an exchange student when I was in my senior high school year. She was a very sweet person, polite and interesting to talk with. I have neighbors from Japan and they are very nice, and good neighbors.

I think even less of those people who ask everyone else what their opinions are of others.

Japanese people are the same as you or I, not more, not less. Nothing I think about them will likely change their country, culture, traditions, history, so why care?

I have not been to Japan, but I am actually going to Osaka for a few weeks this November.

I've been to Okasa, and Okinawa. I lived on Okinawa for three years. I loved the culture and did learn the language while we, (my family) were there. I met a lot of really cool people and would love to move back. I had nothing but great interactions and experiences.

I have a question for you? What do Japanese think of Okinawans?

I've never been to Japan, though I know a woman who taught there (ESL) for a few years. Through her, I've met several Japanese men and women... they seem great. I find the language lovely, as well--I speak a bit of it.

One of my good friends is Japanese, she is the kindest, sweetest person I know. I have never been to Japan though, but it must be beautiful, and the food is great.
