I would just like to know if you could share some past experiences with me. Last year my brother went to high school. He really screwed up and now i am having uncertain feelings about going. If you have any advice please feel free to state it!!

Dont be afriad, its just high school and yes some people make a big deal about the transition but you'll be fine. I know you've heard the saying "dont procrastinate" and you really shouldn't. Just prepare yourself for a lot of work from each class and find ways to manage your time wisely.

Aside from school work, when it comes to dealing with people in high school I strongly suggest you know who your true friends are. I have had bad experiences where you think you know a friend when really they stab you in the back and you get screwed over. Know who you should get along with and dont mess around with people you know your going to get yourself into a lot of trouble. Also, dont do anything stupid that you will regret later on. A lot of people talk in high school, its hard to keep things secret. I'm not saying this to scare you but just as a warning so you dont have a hard time.

Concentrate more on work than on drama and you'll be fine.

Hi. The first week might seem overwhelming trying to get from class to class so I would go to an orientation beforehand. Also, check to see if any of your friends have classes near or around yours so you can walk together and help one another out.

Otherwise, I would just "be myself" but be your best self! Have FUN!!! And remember, your attitude is everything.

well dont do whatever your brother did, and i know you probably heard this a thousand times but, get involved. you will meet all types of people. all kinds of kids that think they r kool because they smoke and drink. High school is important becase thats what colleges are going to look at if you decide to go to college.

Yes! Study; apply yourself, and learn. Don't worry and stress over making straight A's. Just do the best you can, and everything will take care of itself. Good luck in high school and beyond.
