When a client walks in, the lawyer shows him the moon and the stars and lies blatantly that he will win the case for him, then he gets adjournments and lies about them, then he misses some some procedures and processes and lies about them, he gets in touch with the opponents lawyer and lies to him that he has aces up his sleeves and scares him and makes adjustments with him and lies to his client that the opponents lawyer has some aces up his sleeves, lies to the judge, lies to his wife, lies to his tax man, lies to his friends, lies to his relatives and lies to his own self. But he lives by lying. He bribes the judge to lie and give a favourable judgement, judge lies and inspite of taking bribe, gives a favourable judgement to the opponent because that lawyer has given more brive, this lawyer lies to the client and rises all his limbs in utter helplessness, client goes to higher court with the help of another lying lawyer, after another circle of lying, he may get or not.

I once took a mechanic to small claims court. It should have been an open and shut case. It was simple: the mechanic had refused to perform warranty work. I swear the judge winked at the mechanic's lawyer, and sided with him saying I had not proven my case. It was ridiculous.

Recently, I had to rely on lawyers to sell some land. One lawyer was so incompetant (apathetic or ambivalent) that, on a daily basis, I wanted to wring his neck. One time he was responding to a letter he had received from the opposition, and he said it was a good sign. I couldn't believe my ears. I said, "What do you mean? What you're talking about isn't in the letter!" It was as if he didn't even bother paying attention.

My other lawyer was just as bad. He probably made a deal with the opposition in return for money. And the must aggravating part is, the worse the lawyer does his job, the more money he gets. These thieves are charging about $250 an hour. If they make a simple phone call you get charged $60 and up. They have no reason to work efficiently. In fact, the worse job they do, the more money for them. If they can drag things out, so much the better for their paycheck.

I have lost faith in so-called "professionals". Doctors don't give a d@mn, lawyers are lazy, incompetent ambivalent crooks, accountants will only work as hard as absolutely necessary. Everyone is a major disappointment.

Yes, lawyers make a living lying. I think of them as a thief with a license to steal, and a diploma on the wall testifying how good he is at it. Lawyers seem to have no sense of shame. It is as if they figure they're doing you a favor just handling the paperwork of your case. The actual effort they expend on your behalf is minimal. They'll promise you everything at the beginning, and then they'll act as if they are powerless.

Lies, lies and more lies. Don't forget the old joke: "How can you tell if a lawyer is lying?" Answer: "You can see his lips move".

Sounds like you asked for the moon and thought you were going to get for whatever your legal dispute was. There are always 2 sides to every story. If there was a trial, maybe you didn't come across as someone who was sincere and actually been harmed in some form or fashion.

I have managed to live 60 years without ever needing a lawyer to lie for me, or to me at all. Try it.

Rather harsh to say all lawyers lie better to say that many avoid the truth at all costs.

It seems that you think that doctors make a living by killing....

No we don´t, there are some that do, but that is not "the lawyers", but "some lawyers"...

You expected too much from life, and lawyers in particular.
Maybe your case wasn't as easy as how you told him
