My fish is growing rapidly around the waist and I'm not sure if its a female or male and I don't know if my fish is sick or not. How would I know?Should I take it to the store and ask them?

If my fish is a female and pregnant.....how do I care for it especially when the eggs come? I have other fish too....can they harm it? I have danio's and another Molly.

If it is a female and you think it is pregnant, then she will be hiding, this may look like she is sick but she isn't. A sign of sickness would be not eating.

If you think your fish is pregnant, put it in a breeder, this way the other fish can't each the fry
A molly is a livebearer
And get some food for the fry
Good luck

If it's pregnant, then it'll have a gravid (dark black) spot by her anal fin. If it's fat, then it either has constipation or swim bladder. Try feeding her the outside of peas or lettuce. If she's pregnant, place her in a breeder.
