Everything has to be the biggest, the most handsome,the smartest, the most dangerous, What's wrong with just going for a walk, of having a wonderful conversation with a friend it not funny anymore, it has become sickening,
American Idol has turned me off compleetely.
every contestants sound the same, its no wonder Simon is getting so rude, the other so called judges are just playing to the audience, enough please. bring back the beverly hillbilly's, or the three stooges.

I,for one,totally agree with you.At least there was something worthwhile watching on TV then.Also all the commercials thats on is so annoying.Sure glad there is a mute button on my remote.

Simon has always been rude and actually has softened up a little since AO first started but I don't watch the show for him or goofy acting syrupy Paula either. I watch it so I can see the young kids fulfill their dreams as they work hard to learn from others. That isn't easy getting up on stage in front of others and sing so I really admire them for their efforts....
And actually, Simon and Randy are the two that give honest evaluations, more than Paula does. Simon is just more abrupt with his but has been a bit more tactful as time goes on but, Simon is Simon and we should appreciate constructive criticism ~ that's how we all learn.

It is a different time and generation now. The world and its people are a result of the technology advancements. Culture and Society are influenced by these changes. Some see it as progress, but is it really? We are from a different time and generation and saw the World in which we live from a different vantage point or perspective. People get stupid and when people get stupid...other stupid people fallow and then the world is left with only a few people like us who are not stupid and don't fallow the dumb!
I'm sorry..I just hate stupid people who think that life has to not only me PERFECT! But everyone else's life has to match what they think is perfect as well. How dumb is that?
