Yes, homosexuality allows you to have sex without fear of your partner getting pregnant. However, some contraceptives (like condoms) are also designed to help prevent the spread of disease, and homosexuality is a poor contraceptive in this respect.

I'd recommend a condom and plenty of lube. For vaginal sex, it's also good if the woman's on the pill as well. That way you're doubly protected against babies.

What you read was FICTION and as such contains dramatic licence without viability. This is an interesting question in someways as when we have deep reviewals of global warming, do we ever seriously look at reducing the population? It has been said that halving the world's population will reduce energy demands no end and that could bring about stabilisation of global warming etc. I have no real conception of these ideas but shouldn't that debate take more precendence? And as for the best form of contraception, clearly education is a must there. I wonder if anyone could quote the percentage of women who give birth outside the stability of a warm and loving and secure relationship?

Well the best form of contraception is having a really horrible personality. But this doesn't include still having sex.

Nobody should be forced to be either heterosexual or homosexual. People should be free to be the way they want. Heterosexuals can use the pill, condoms, IUDs, and many other methods to prevent pregnancy already.

Oh, yea, totally viable. No, people would just masturbate, and think of normal sex.
