i would love to become a child that is very ill in hospital, reason so i could take there pain away for a day and they could go and do all the things they want 2 do but cant cause of their illness! This would be the best feeling known i am doing something to help someone for even a short space of time!

I take your question to mean if I could be someone else for a day.
I would choose to be a wanted dangerous criminal on the run, once I became him, or her, I would take myself to the nearest police station, explain what I as that person had done, and tell them why I was like I was, as I would also understand the person more than I currently could.

Dead: William Morris (brit Arts & Crafts designer) because I'd love to have his artistic skills and be able to create whatever I could imagine like he did, cause a movement, write about politics, do stained glass, furniture, illustrations, wallpapers, textiles, metal work, paintings and still have time for a beer with my mates.
Alive: Probably Oprah Winfrey - I'd love to have the power and ability she has to make a difference and help people, I'd push her to be the President whilst I can too.

I'm not sure as i've never thought about this. Iwas just thinking as well and can't really think of anyone else i'd like to be, but i'd probably like to feel/know what's it like to be a guy you know? Now that would be interesting!

not sure, but I'd want to be a female--just for ONE day---and figure out what women want, what they think, and where the good spots are. I would not want to be a married girl, or have a boyfriend. I dunno----maybe I want to be Ellen deGeneres
