They were always going to get on a roll, but its too early to talk about the post-season, they are still below .500.

Yes they are. All they have to do is continue to play as well as they have been and just take it one game at time. Don't worry about the playoffs yet. Concentrate on the now and they can do it. Posada will definitely remain hot at the plate. All Clemens can do is pitch every 5 days for us, so when it is his turn, all he has to do is pitch well enough to help lead them to victory. I'm sure A-Rod will have anothe month like he did in April. The pitching is starting to come around which is great. Hitting remains to be effective.

They are toast! A Rod will have good numbers as always. Posada will cool off. Clemens will be just average in the long run. They need to win 7 of every 10 games to make with play offs. Won't happen!

The yanks are GOING to come back ive been saying this since the begining of the year. they always get off to a slow start. how could they not come back you could easily name their whole team to the all star game. A-rod will continue the season and might have a few big months but nothing like April. i predict he will end the season a 305 hitter hit 48 homers and 130 rbi. for jorge he will end up at 320 with 30 out and 100 rbi. clemens will help more in the postseason but might help them win 4 or 5 more games

They are definitely playing better ball and I do think they'll make a fight for the Wild Card, but they won't get the ALE - The Sox will take that. Clemens will help, but he won't make a huge difference. I think as a team they are coming together and perhaps supporting one another a bit better and that helps out on the field. Getting a few wins in a row does wonders for morale - they are riding high right now. No one should think for a minute that teams aren't going to have ups and downs. Its the nature of baseball.

Yeah they are on a huuuuuuggggge comeback. Damn it must feel good to play the White Sox and the Pirates and have World Series hopes come back to life. Congrats Yankees...you made up 4 games in a week and moved back into second place. The Yankees are still 10.5 games back...no one said they wouldn't have some winning streaks this year but I wouldn't count them in the race until they make up another 5 games.

No. No. No. No. Clemons only pitched six innings yesterday and won only because the Yankees scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to put them ahead. He gave up THREE runs, and they are writing about him as though the savior has arrived for the Yankees. Today they are still TEN AND A HALF games back of the Red Sox even after having won five in a row. They are done for the year, and all of Red Sox Nation are celebrating!!

Anyone who says the yanks are dead are crazy!! Mostly Red sox fans who just are really hoping they are dead. They probably will not catch the sox but will win the wildcard. Its anybodys game in the postseason.

Only 6 games out of the wildcard spot. They have to just concentrate on playing well and not worry about playoffs yet.
