They shouldn't matter, but most people think they do. Some of the nicest people are not the prettiest or most handsome.

Looks aren't suppose to matter but they certainly do in the world today. Most guys think of beautiful women, media focuses on beautiful women, and the work place also focuses on good looks and presentation. It's a selfish world . Looking good though is important for one's self so I do agree appearance is inportant to maintain.

Looks are what catches the attention. But, these days, if it weren't for silicone, pasted on makeup, brilliant hairdressers and air brushed photographs, our concept of beauty would be very different. Looks fade (or sag) and what is left? Without a good personality, sense of humor, intelligence, integrity, there wouldn't be much left.

I agree looks dont matter its the ersonality which is more important. You might lok good but then if ur personality or nature is not good full of negativity then all the positive fact of good loking goees aa waste hence its imp to be be a good human beign / person rather than a good looking one with evil heart.

If you're looking for a one night stand, I'm sure looks would be fine. For a "rest of your life" type of relationship, take into consideration that as we age, looks fade. Integrity, honesty and a mutual respect are qualities that will last for a life-time. Looks are nice, but they're not all they're cracked up to be!

Of course looks matter. At first! They're the ice breaker. Then as a person becomes more familiar with the other person, other things become important

Looks don't mean everything. If someone has a kind and compassionate heart, and cares about people, looks don't matter to me. If someone thinks they are the
best thing since sliced bread, has a bad attitude, I love me who do you love, turns me right off. Good looks aren't that important.
