No matter where I've lived, I always returned to my Fransisco of Argentina. He showed me how to melt wax & take nicks out from backs of high heels, while telling me he bought another huge bottle of Chanel #5 for his graceful old lady to bathe in for when he got home! His shop in Pasadena, CA
closed after many years.

I don't give first names on the net,
But I know his first name and he is my neighbour and local man and not only mine shoe repairman, but for whole family as long as I can remember.

Gary. He's an American. I've been going to him for 22 years, and refer people to him all the time. Speaking of which, I have to take my daughter's shoes into him in the morning. Thanks for the reminder.

I can't think of his name right now, he's from the USA and my parents did business with his dad and now I do business with him. His shop is in Lufkin, Texas.
