in 10 to 15 years it most likely will be off your credit report. But a lot can happen in 1 year never-mind 10 or 15. I never recommend Foreclosing unless it is a last resort option. If you want to unload your timeshare the resale market has proved to be an effective way to sell. If you owe more than the value of the property, and you are a current home owner, you might want to consider an equity loan to free up the deed.

In 10 - 15 years, it will be ancient history. It will be long off your credit record and have little impact if any at all. Your next car purchase in 2 or 3 years may not be so rosy, however.
