The war in Iraq is a fraud for high oil prices.
That's how Exxon and Bushco are making their money.
Did you know that Bush's Public Energy Policy is being kept secret from the public?
After the Dems sweep in '08 that document will be opened and the names of all the treasonists in America will be exposed once and for all.
I wonder how many Exxon executives, Bin Lauden family members (Saudi Royal Family), and other oil intrests were in that meeting which planed out the future course of energy for America.

i think so, for sure. if you study the middle east much you will see how much hatred there is for each other. it is insane! talk to an iranian and see what their opinion of saudi arabia is. talk to a lebanese sunni or maronite christian and see how they feel about iran, syria, and palestine. those people hate each other even more than us and the Jews. dictatorships are the only things keep each other for going all out against each other. many groups have been getting screwed over for years and a democracy would give them the chance to get their revenge. having said that, i dont know what the alternative is. keep allowing the region to be run by terrorist groups and dictators in order to keep the peace? seriously, if all the dictatorships in the region collapsed today it would be a massacre far worse than Rwanda

For an enlightening look at the war in Iraq, read what Bush Sr. had to say about it when he was president. He said if the US invaded Iraq, what will happen is Iraq will turn into the grounds for a civil war. Sr knew, why didn't he tell Jr or did Jr just not listen as usual.

The very answer to this question just adds fuel to the ever mounting proof that Bush et al deliberately/knowingly lied about the reasons to wage his illegal atrocity.
The President etc have numerous experts on virtually every subject to guide them in their decision making.
Like so many other dissenting voices that were simply not allowed to be heard in the run up to the filthy "Shock and Awe" campaign, many reputable political scientists and sociologist WARNED the Bush Administration and the world that any abrupt change in the political situation in Iraq would in all probability lead to an outright civil war WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT HAS HAPPENED.
THese experts simply referred to another recent situation where when a strong despotic leader eventually dies or is ousted,it releases decades of pent up ethnic animosity leading to civil war.
The case of course was with the former Yugoslavia.
For decades the ruthless dictator Tito held the highly ethnically diverse Yugoslavia whole through his sheer will and authority.
When he died of course all hell eventually broke loose leading to a civil war replete with crimes against humanity ,
ethnic cleansing",rape,torture,butchery etc.
The ancient ethnic animosities were able to "take wing" and it resulted ultimately in Milosovitch being charged with crimes against humanity/
These experts warned Bush of the consequences of removing Saddam and the high probability of a civil war but the war mongering ,lying
"crimes against humanity" Bush dismissed these warnings and advised the nation and the world that in conversations he had with his GOD,he was convinced that his GOD sanctioned Bush's Iraqi atrocity.
These experts cited the the historical mutual hatred of the Shite and Sunni sects which in and of itself could ignite a civil war .
Bush needs to be first impeached and removed then removed to Le Hague where he must be charged with Crimes Against Humanity. If Bush's actions that have resulted in the slaughter of over 400,000 innocent Iraqi men , women and children is not a crime against humanity then I do not know what is.

Iraq War had the United State where most of nations wanted to see it. A war zone where the USA can not leave or stay.
Its a war business for the lobbyists.

Yes, there are two kinds of Muslims and they hate each other, and both of them hate Kurds. What did they think would happen when there was no law?
I voted for Bush, but that does not mean I follow blindly. I never thought the invasion of Iraq was anything but a ploy to finish what daddy bush started back in 90.
The average Iraqi was safer in his day to day life under Saddam.
Someone told me this was not like Vietnam. Lets see, we have heavily armed 18 year olds in a foreign land where the enemy and the citizens look exactly alike and nobody wants them there.
It's nothing like Vietnam.
Righttttttttttt

given the lack of 'post-liberation' planning, the over-reliance on iraqi exiles (with their own agendas and axes to grind) for our intelligence, and 'wishful thinking' assumptions by neocon 'geniuses' like wolfowitz, i believe that this mess was absolutely inevitable...and, in fact, was predicted by those the bush administration chose to ignore...

how can you call it a "liberation?"
the iraqi people didn't vote to invite the USA to invade them and "liberate" them. it is the USA government's propaganda by using the word "liberation," iraq was an independent country, no matter what saddam did, it is their business, there are many dictators all over the world, especially in africa, we didn't see the USA invade any of those countries and "liberate" those people that really need liberation
