I know people who have had very bad experiences with letting agents. Mostly they take your money and do very little for it. Your best bet is to contact other people letting through agents in your area and ask what they think of them. Certainly make sure that they keep to their contract and do what they are supposed to!!

Just look in Yellow pages or under Yell.com for letting agencies in your area. There will be plenty on the Internet too, have a good look around and read their terms and conditions. Good luck.

No you don't .. what you need is a flat to rent..

Focus on finding the flat, not on finding an agent :-)
