Hey, at least they are leaving them in a nursery and not alone in an apartment as they have done in the past!

My question is more why did they not leave them in the nursery the night in question? I totally do agree with you and well I would not leave any of my kids with resort daycare ever. I dont just trust anyone with my kids there are to many sickos. I can count on 3 fingers how many people I trust to babysit my toddler and 8 year old. My 10, 12 and 13 year old each have 1 friend with whom I trust the parents enough to let them sleep over their house. Sadly I have not been out with my husband gosh in like 3 years but that is ok because when they fly from the nest I will have to much time on my hands.

Yes, I couldn't agree more. Also isn't all this publicity just preventing the likely hood of any free movement by the supposed abductor? I would say low profile publicity and extensive undercover police work would have been a better option. I have had five children and would never have put any of them in such a situation is this country, let alone abroad!

If they had left their children in the nursery the night of Madeleine's abduction there would not have been a tragedy. At least they are doing that now in their continual absences.

Some people in this day & age treat children as some form of fashion accessory, To be left with whoever, whenever, Without reguard for the child, Not just on holiday. My veiw is that if you have dicided too have children it's YOUR job too look after them 24/7 untill they are of an age to look after themselves. My wife & i have raised three, & like to think we've done our best.

How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
actually, i doubt it would do the children much good to be travelling and being in the media spotlight, at least they can have some small semblance of normality when they are left in the good care of nursery & friends.
anyway, - to all the other answers - blah, blah blah you have said it all before, you hate the McCanns, and some of you are quite jealous of the travelling, media attention, etc, etc.
you are not helping anyone, certainly not the missing child, by denigrating her parents and trying to shut them up...
doesn't your spite and hatred get boring after a while?

no they didnt...and what do you expect from people who have children as you go in a shop and buy toys (they ordered them as you order 'goods' on e bay) but maybe dont be 'real' parents produce this results...i woudnt leave my kids anymore even to go in toilets...they seems to me a bit too nuts or too 'out of the real'....choose one of these options..

well said. touring europe and money is obviously far more important than their children. they don`t deserve to be parents. i have a boy and girl and although now grown up, so help me god NEVER left them alone when they were young.

As far as I am aware their family has joined the circus in Portugal. I heard they have announced they have called off the European tour.
