My floppy disc that has important information is not working. Is there any way of getting the information out?
Many thanks
Mary

The information saved on a floppy disc starts to degrade after a couple of years. Fortunately there is a wide range of capability among FD drives. Just take your floppy disc to another computer. From there you can read or just copy the entire contents of the disc to a new formatted floppy.

Try installing a new floppy disk drive, or see if you can borrow a computer that has one, then save the info on cd or dvd

you put the floppy in..
you go to my computer
open "floppy device"
you right click on the file you need
you press "copy"
you go to the desktop or anywhere else you want to save the file into
and you right click and select "paste"
