you were so rich you bought an island and named it after a country that already exists. What could the results be? Could there be a lawsuit? Just pondering.........lol

Any Judge would rule against you because of assumed responsibility. The lawsuit would be against you. You would lose, hands down.

I dont think so, that would be cool to have your own island though. I would make myself king of it and call it Freedom island. No liberals allowed.

I think it might depend on the name you chose. I can't see USA letting you get away with it! But some obscure wee place that noone has heard of would probably be fine!
