I am just getting back from Saturday night's game, completely disgusted with the herds of Boston fans that showed up. I drove from Tucson to see this exciting interleague match-up. Do you know how hard it is to hear more than half the crowd roar when the Red Sox reliever jogs onto the mound in a save situation? Or how annoying it is to put up with the "Let's Go Red Sox" chant when they get runners on base. Or even worse, to hear your own pitcher and catcher get booed fiercely when they have a quick conference. You have a playoff contending team in the middle of the best division race in baseball, in the middle of the nation's sixth largest city. This is not okay! Step up and be the baseball city that you are! Don't let your team feel like they're playing on the road when they're in their own ballpark. Don't make it so easy for all these Red Sox scum, or any other American League wannabes, to get a hold of so many tickets! You with me? (AZ fans, don't leave me hanging!)

You know something, you raise a good point, I am not an Arizona fan and didn't believe what you were saying to be true, but it is. Arizona fans have a beautiful stadium and a winning team with a good shot at the playoffs, But your attendance ranks 20th out of 30 MBL teams. Last year was even worse at 24th out of 30 teams. So I am going to ask the same question as you, "what's going on in Arizona with not supporting your team?" many other cities would love to have them.

You raised some great points. I mean look at your answers. I think five out of six are from Sox fans and one Giant fan. That just goes to show that D-Backs have no fans... or real fans...

I mean Diamondback Nation just has no ring to it. How about Diamondback Third World Country. How about D-Back: Stadium for rent.

When I would go to Camden yards with 20,000 of the Fenway Faithful, we did the same there, and their fans cried; However, they knew better than to call Bo Sox fan "scum"... that was rude and really uncalled for.

The only fight I ever saw in Camden (I lived in Baltimore for some time) was when Detriot was in town and it was between a Sox and Yankees fan. I hate the Yanks, but their fans are as passionate about their team as we are... and they are the scum. We don't care, your state doesn't care--the only reason we answer your piteous little question is because we are New Englanders and we get the last word. Now, I'm going to go answer your other stupid resolve you muck.

Cheers,

Ken

PS

V-Tek is up and the crowd is going nuts.

Sorry, but you are hanging!! Those Red Sox "scum" as you refer to them have beaten the Diamondbacks for two straight and most likely will sweep the series today. We are NOT a wannabee!! WE are the REAL thing, and the D-backs are just finding out what it is like to play a real major league team.

Chow!!

it is not "invading", yet extremely traveling a baseball stadium just to delight in a interest featuring their prominent baseball team! No fanbase can limit followers of alternative communities from getting into their ballpark because of the fact those individuals that think of like that are actually not "diehards", yet "wannabes", "fake followers" and "bandwagoners"..... community acquaintances Coliseum, or "Fenway Park West" has A's followers performing the comparable way like the own the ballpark, that's ridiculous because of the fact they on no account geared up it or had their call on the cornerstone..... I forget approximately those "fake followers" and luxuriate in the sport like it will be enjoyed..... with out listening to "bandwagoners" attempting to assert i'm an "invader". they don't belong staring at baseball or any professional interest in spite of everything.

I was really agreeing with what you were saying until you had to throw the "Red Sox scum" in there. Is that really necessary? Just because we're having a good season, we're scum? Get over it.

Sounds just like the Tigers before they got their act together. If the fans are not showing up there must be a reason and it usually lies with the team. I would focus your efforts there.

You blew it for me too with the "scum" comment. I was wholeheartedly agreeing with you up til that point.
