I have read 1 (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) and 3 (Catch-22) too, both amazing reads.
The cool thing about those two is that they were made into top-notch movies (Cuckoo's nest deservedly won best pic oscar I think), but the books were that much better!
In Cuckoo's Nest, there was even more detail and story in the book - I saw the movie after reading the book and the fishing trip part especially was a watered-down (oops pun sry) disappointment.
If you like those books, another one you will likely also enjoy is The Choirboys - it was exciting and scary and riveting all at the same time (and you might never look at police officers quite the same!)

Hey mate,
The best option is to, if possible read the back of each book so that you get an idea for each of the books, that way you can pick your style book, as every one is different.

Something I recommend may be completely boring to you, where as I would love it, so your best option would be to track up and have a read of the back, as you may waist time reading 30 pages of something recommended by someone, when you can go straight into what you like.
