Hi Well okay when i get my period every month just as i first get it i get realy, realy bad cramps. And they are not pleasant! I have tried a heating pad and a hot bath but nothing seems to help, i pretty much just have to deal with the pain till it goes away. Anything that i can do to make the horrible pain go away?

omg. i get them all of the time. what i do, is not think about it. i know its so hard because it feels like this hugee stomacheache, but try motrin. if that doesnt help. drink water [try warm water, it'll be better. becasue if you drink cold water, it might get worse.] and dont eat too many sweets before your period. eat more healthy.

Have you ever tired a over the counter medication, like midol or pamprin? Those seem to work for me, and i have really bad cramps as well. Rest when needed but regular exercise may help minimize the cramps. If they are extreme bad talk to a doctor, he/she may recommend being on birth control so you don't have to deal with the pain as often but i would not recommend that (birth control) until you've tried alternatives.

Believe it or not, exercise works wonders. If your cramps flare up, try doing some sit-ups, or jog a little to get the muscles working. It always works for me , and it's better than taking medication if it's not necessary. =)

Extra Strength Tylenol works wonders for me. It's cheaper than products like Midol, too, though it's only for pain so I still feel a little bloated and tired. And it does nothing for my temper. lol

I would recommend having your dr evaluate the situation further to see what they think is causing these cramps to be real bad.
