As usual, it will be pure popularity contest because fans are voting the all-stars in. Expect undeserving players to be voted in because of fan-based balloting which means less and less objectivity. For instance, Yao Ming should be a cinch as a West starter for as long as he's playing because of his millions, perhaps even billions, of Chinese fans.
