For psychology class, I am conducting an ethnographic research, interviewing a senior citizen. Although biographic questions are expected, we should focus on the interviwee's reflections of past life events and stages whereby questions are to be more psychological in nature than historical/ biographical. As well, we have to ask the interviewee of how she or he views life at the present and future. The interview should last about 30 minutes and we must audio or video tape for class presentation purposes.

Anyways, I just was wondering if you all can give me a hand. I need help coming up with questions for the interview following the criteria listed above for the questions. Please, please help.

P.S. The questions should be more psychological in nature than historical/ biographical. Thanks. I will give points to whoever has the best collection of questions.

You have seen a lot of changes in your life. Which ones were for the good and which ones were for the bad? Then follow up by asking why the subject feels that the changes were good and/or bad.

As open ended questions so the subject can explain why he/she feels as he/she does.

What do you feel when you realize that today will be somebody else's "good old days."

Were the good old days really all that good? Why?

What was the best/worst part of your childhood? Why?

Has someone passed away leaving you with something to say to them? What would say and why didn't you say it when you could have?

What are the best/worst parts of growing older? Why do you say that?

Would you ever want to be a teenager again?

This reminds me of how I was about 2 months ago. (My ex was two timing me which I found out only after he dumped me) Anyway, you need to know that you did not deserve a guy like him. There are billions of other guys out there and from them I'm sure that there is someone who wouldn't cheat on you. After breaking up everyone takes their own time to get over their ex. Spend more time with your friends/family, listen to happy songs, get a hobby, you could blog about how and what you feel and just be active. Music, art and craft are a couple things you could do. Learn how to play an instrument, maybe draw anime or you could always do origami (There are tons of lessons/tutorials on youtube), Why waste your time and hurt yourself cause of a person like him? You could always go to the school councelor or a psychiatrist.

What are the psychological differences between the parenting you received, the parenting that you gave your children and the parenting that your children gave to your grandchildren?

Do you think that the parenting you gave to your child would have seen a different outcome on your grandchildren if they were parented the same way?
