There are some things that can't be defined in words. For example: "How does a broken rib feel?" Emotions and pain must be FELT to be understood. It's generally acknowledged that once you're really in love, you'll know it. But this isn't true. If it were true, we'd fall in love once and forever. The younger we are, the more we confuse physical attraction with love. That changes in time, but the fact that 51 percent of marriages in this country end in divorce should tell you that even most adults don't know what love really means. There are all kinds of love: love for parents, for children, for friends, for country, etc. These involve different attitudes like loyalty, for example. But loyalty or trust are ATTRIBUTES, not definitions.
Sorry if I've made things even harder for you to understand.

Love means someone else is more important to you than yourself.
Read 1st Corinthians 13 in the New Testament. It describes love(charity) better than most of us can.

If a question arises that usually means you are not in love. Because when you are - you have no questions, you just love. That is why people cannot explain love. From the outside they don't understand it. From the inside they don't bother to understand it and to explain it. :)

love is unexplainable.. :]
you will do something crazy for that person. But there is different types of love.
For a Family member: a mom. father. you love them you care about them.
A Bf/Gf/husand/Wife: you are in love with them you care for them.
A son/daughter: you love them because they came from you and u want them to grow up smart and healthy etc..
Family members: its unconditional love.

Love is all encompassing and compassionate without any judgement as attachments to the emotion...NO doubt............... it's ........" a deep tender, ineffable, feeling of affection.. and solicitude towards the person.
