i herd this somewhere and i doubt it and i would'nt try it if it was true just curious

New carpet has a lot of chemicals in it that have been known to effect birds and other very small pets. People no. I install a lot of carpet and all I get is a sore throat after a long day of breathing fumes.

Ur doubts R not correct . When U R on the surface Ur outomatically raised high as the carpet has its thickness.

Possible I guess, maybe from the chemicals they use to make it when its new, but I wouldnt go laying face down on an old carpet trying it out, doubt it would work on old carpet.
