It normally takes me 2 hours, instead of the typical 7 minutes for the average human.

I actually have tried the counting sheep thing. Haha.

Normally I go to bed b/w 5 and 6 am and wake up around 3-4 pm.

Summer messes my schedule up, man.

Lol it takes me a while too. I usually jst read something until I can't keep my eyes open. ;)

I lay in bed and read the news on the internet from my cell phone. The boring news articles usually put me to sleep. Sometimes I drink hot herbal tea. Every blue moon I take a lunesta. Every so often I drink a glass of red wine before bed or have a shot of tequila. I also take a hot shower before bed which relaxes me.

Sometimes I try deep breathing or other relaxation exercises. Sometimes I think about a job around the house I could do if I got up. A lot of the time, while I'm trying to decide if I really want to get up and do it, I'll fall asleep.

Well, first of all, before I go to bed I take a natural supplement called Melatonin (guaranteed to knock you out and give you amazing dreams) if that doesn't work, I take a few Tylenol PM's. If THAT doesn't work, I usually give up entirely and read a book or go online. Sometimes a hot shower or bath before you go to bed is helpful.

I read, have a cup of tea, listen to music, I try to stay away from TV, computer and anything that will stress me out.
I keep my room cool and I got these darkening drapes that make it ..well dark. Helps a lot!! I found since I have been working out more I tend to sleep better.

It takes me 1-1 1/2 hours usually. But really depends on how tired i am. I think of happy thoughts

First and foremost... take a warm shower before u go to bed... dont eat at least 2 hours before you go to bed.. dont read in bed (try not to, i know a lot of us do!)... then go to sleep when you feel yourself dozing off (dont fight that feeling!) dont worry abt not able to fall asleep... just let ur mind wander... abt what you did today... ur plans for tomorrow... dont get excited tho... relax... play some music if that helps...
before you know it, ud be in dreamland

I toss and turn in bed until I work myself into a rage.My rage builds and builds until my brain can't take the anger any more. Then I pass out.

Sometimes, I just stay in my bed, close my eyes and thinking about the people who I love.

take me two hours too, i just sit up and watch some comedy shows like the wayans brothers and fresh prince of belair and after a few min. i fall asleep
