movies that are out now are pure garbage..the one that we went tonight sucked so hard i almost weeped for throwing away 18 bucks...

Nowadays so many people watch movie as an extension of their self image and less about the movie quality. E.g., if someone watches a movie that has explosions, gunfights and nudity, he believes that he looks more masculine than ever and therefore raises his self-worth. In other words, commodities, including movies, has become America's no. 1 obsession that replaces religion. So whether the movies made in Hollywood is garbage or not is really irrelevant to the real issue.

Must have been a real loser of a movie. I hate the movies when you wait and wait for something exciting to happen in the movie and nothing ever does. I saw a trailer tonight and it was pitiful! That movie doesn't have a prayer. I think will put in my copy of Fight Club and watch it.

Maybe it's me--and I'm not saying you're wrong--but it sounds like you only hated the movie, simply because you were forced to see it out of your own free will. I had the same feeling when I was forced to see "Rent". Gayest thing ever!

garbage in your opinion, but then there are people (like my mate) who go to movies just because they look bad.
and people always will have mixed opinions about movies, good or bad.
