it is fairly normal becauyse of the hormones he was exposed to before birth. its also not abnormal for a baby girl to have vaginal bleeding after birth. it will go away and he won't look like that forever. just be patient momma. congrats

The condition is called sexual crisis. The crisis happens to both sexes. What happened was that some of ur prolactin, a hormone that stimulates milk production, got into the system of ur son. This enhances the breasts to engorge and produce milk. Try squeezing his boobs and milk will come out from his nipples. If U won't it will cause discomfort like when both ur boobs are fully engorged.

In baby girls, menstruation may also happen at this stage. It is also related to the hormones that got into her system during pregnancy.

There is nothing so serious abt these conditons. They will pass away in time as they will grow older and the hormones disappear in their systems.

This happens because all embryos start out as females but as they develop they either stay female or develop into boys, so it is just the hormones from this. It is also normal for some girls to have mini periods within the first couple of weeks after being born.

That is totally normal. My son was the same way. It will go away, but maybe not for a couple months. It's just from the estrogen.

Hope you are dealing well with the lack of sleep!!!

It's completely normal. He was exposed to lots of female hormones in the womb, so his body is just kind of confused. It will sort itself out soon. My son had the same thing.

What you were told is exactly right. Some babys have boobs, and it is due to your hormones. Don't worry too much they will disappear in time.

lol man boobs.
They will go away don’t worry. When babies are born they look bloated after few weeks the bloating will go away. it is because of extra hormones in their body. But the boobs will stay, they will be smaller, until he is a toddler because of baby fat. They look so cute and chubby

they should be goin away any day now it takes awhile for all your hormones(which cause the man "boobs" and swollen genitals in boys and girls) to leave his body
