Bootsy Collins was from Cincinnati and the Ohio Players were all from Dayton. I am kind of partial to talent and creativity from my own state, especially even my area.
Bootsy sang "the Junkie", and wrote the Cincinnati Bengals' fi\new fight song.
The Ohio Players sang "Fire", and "Funky Worm", and Honey" and "Roller Coaster", etc.

Yeah the bump. I remember people doing it, but I didn't know any of the dance step routine, except bumping.
