It is NOT recommended to run more than one anti-virus program on a computer. They can interact with each other and cause problems.
Hope this helps, Roy

I once had 2 anti virus programs for 6 months; AVG Anti Virus 7.5 and Kapersky Internet Security 6(with firewall). When I first started I had both Windows Firewall and Kapersky's Firewall on at the same time. Whenever I checked the Security Center in the Control Panel to see the firewall setting, it would warn against using two firewalls. So I turned off Windows Firewall and used Kapersky's. But with regard to the anti virus setting, it mentioned 'Windows found multiple anti virus programs ...' it didn't warn against using these two anti virus programs. ... And for 6 months these two anti virus programs never clashed. What virus AVG missed Kapersky caught and vice versa. .. So, according to my experience, having 2 anti virus programs is alright. What matters is whether they are compatible with one another. ... I uninstalled Kapersky after the trial period ended. Now I regret having uninstalled it. It could have continued to give my pc extra protection together with the firewall. Only the update feature is disabled. ... If you are fearful of clashes, you should use only one resident or realtime shield.

Not a good idea, the very act of scanning one another can be interpreted as malicious by the program being scanned.
Also the virus definitions one program uses can be viewed as viruses by other the other program. You're asking for trouble. Spyware programs are a different story though, I've got Webroot Spy Sweeper and Windows Defender they get along fine.

Its not advisable as they often conflict with one and other.
You should down load Spyware like Spybot search and destroy.Spyblaster,Ad Aware Se.as a lot of anti virus programs dint treat spyware malware a keyloggers as virus's So down load all the above programs and keep them up to-date and you should have trouble free surfing.

no, you cant have more than one antivirus installed on your computer because if you do, they will interfere with each other and possibly make them both not work, so it would be useless.

Yes you can but it is not recommended. They can cause conflicts with each other, and eventually cause them both to quit qorking properly, and making them very hard to uninstall.
Cheers

Yes, but only one of them can be active at a time for scanning the RAM etc.
