Eat them, rip there head off and stick a bunch on a cookie sheet, have them soak in a Smokey BBQ marinade for a few hours, then cook them until there shells turn black then take them out and pull there shells off and eat the yellow meat, tastes not to bad, a survival recipe for hardcore survivalists.
Note: don't eat the heads only the bodies.

I only get scared when I'm in NYC, and those big monster cockroaches come FLYING at you!!!
Otherwise, I just stamp them out, and pursue them relentlessly if I spot one. They do spread disease, FYI (or rather, for your husband).

Well we don't have problems with them here. In fact the only time I've ever seen one is when i was in high school, 10 yrs ago. They were those Madagascar hissing ones. I LOVED them. In fact they were in our science room and i would have with me at my desk almost everyday. And during tests, they would either sit on my desk or on my arm.

You should catch them and cover them with chocolate and sell them, some people love to eat them, along with bumble bees and grass hoppers, and they cost aprox.$6.00 for a small tin

LOL, that's very cute... actually, I don't see em around much in the desert, but once at my friends house they ganged up on me and performed the river dance for me, I thought that was pretty cool. i'm just glad they didn't attack me!
