There is a very famous medical textbook called Gray's Anatomy which set the standard for anatomy textbooks, and in some ways, medical textbooks in general, for many years.

The TV programme's main character is Dr. Grey, so they did a clever little wordplay (notice the spelling of Grey vs. Gray).

TV is, of course, known worldwide for it's clever wit (heavy sarcasm).
