She will most likely be removed from her home, But not tomorrow. It takes time. Maybe her dad just needs help. And child services can do that for them. The point is not to break up a family. The point is to make it better. And sometimes separation can be the best answer. If you really love and care for her, report it. You don't have to give your name. Maybe you can do it through your school counselor at first. But do it soon. Don't let it become too late. Good Luck.

If child services is brought in she may not have to leave the home, depending on the issues. He may need to leave the home. If there are other children present they are at risk also. Her father may need anger management or parental training. If she is taken from the home it is much better than being beaten. Talk to the school counselor or some other trusted adult. Be a good friend and listen and be there for her, but get her some help. No one deserves to be beaten by someone who is supposed to love them.

My advice would be to report it.

Would you rather her be around you while you know she is in Hell or do you want your friend to get better?

You guys can still keep in touch and maybe she won't be taken away that far.

If her father hits her too hard one day she may have to pay for it with her life.

God only knows what emotional trauma she has already gone through.

But I really do hope you make the right decision. Good luck.

If she slammed the door and broke it then she doesn't sound abused. Abused kids are usually scared to do things like that. She probably needed to get beat for a stunt like that. My parents would of beat my butt if I did that but they didn't abuse me.

she might lose a few friends, but they do have phones and internet at least she will be safe and know that someone loved her enough to care about her

You call the police and report the abuser. They will investigate and determine the truth. Why even waste time asking?
