I don't hope. I plan and set goals. I work very hard to achieve them and always have a fall back plan in mind.
This is work of course :)
Personally, I have two young ladies at home that make me hope all the time, and I rarely worry about the worst.

lolzz so yahoo answers staff do have some sorta sense of humor... i thought that was lost on them..!!
i hope for the best and try not to think about the worst* cause why spend time thinking about the worst when i can be lost dreaming about the best to come =)..

Yes, most often during certain times of year. For example, having spent half my life in east central Florida kept me keenly aware of hurricane season.

I have learned to just be prepared......period! You know like kleenex , clean undergarments, heart pills etc in my purse for those unprepared best and worst!
