Oh my goodness.. anyone that says that you cannot get pregnant during your period or right before has not read anything about the facts of pregnancy.

It is unlikely.. I say UNLIKELY.. that you are pregnant. However you can get pregnant anytime, of any day, of any month.

Your body is not a clock or a piece of equipment. It has its own schedule and set of rules. That are completely unpredictable.

Sperm can live for days so you can even get pregnant if you have unprotected sex while having your period. They can hide in there, in folds.

If there was an accurate rhythm method of birth control then people would not purchase pills. Thy rhythm method would have a higher percentage of effectiveness. If you go on any website and research effective birth control methods, you will see that the "rhythm method" is at the bottom of the list. It is there for a reason.. because it is unpredictable.

Yes...it is always a possibility whether you were on your period or not...you CAN get pregnant...so yes...you may be...only way to know for sure is to wait a few weeks and take a pregnancy test.

** I think people need to retake biology or talk to a doctor...just because you are ON YOUR PERIOD does NOT mean you CAN'T get pregnant...YOU CAN!

An egg can survive in your fallopian tube for about 24 hours after it's released from the ovary. So the only way you can get pregnant is if sperm are present in your fallopian tube during this window of opportunity. If the egg isn't fertilized, it's shed along with your uterine lining during your period.

Typically, when you have your period, another egg is developing in preparation for release during the current cycle. But not every woman's cycle length is the same. Many women have a cycle that's about 28 days long, but some have cycles as short as 22 days long. If you have a shorter cycle, you could ovulate just a few days after you have your period. And considering that sperm can survive in your reproductive tract for up to three days, it's theoretically possible for the sperm to hang around until you ovulate again.

If you had sex in the morning, and then had your period for it's normal time, 3, 5, 7 days, whatever, there is no way for you to become pregnant. Your husbands sperm cannot make it into reproductive system, and then fight the flow of menstruation for how ever many days, and remain alive long enough to then impregnate you once you ovulate, generally days after your period ended. But, you never know ... your husband might be Super Man or something ...

First of all if I've learned ANYTHING it's that anything is possible. However, most likely you are not pregnant. You have to be ovulating for conception to occur and as you tend to ovulate around 14 days from the end of your last period it is doubtful that you are. Hope this helps.

Most likely not. You're most likely to become pregnant if you have unprotected sex during your ovulation period which is about 13 days before your period. So you should be safe.

nope. so heres how the whole fertility thing works. you have you period. which is a shedding of your uterus lining as well as an unfertilized egg. then for the next week or so you are not fertile. then you ovulate which is when you release a new egg from your ovary. the time it takes your egg to travel down your faloopian tube is the time you are fertile. during this time your uterus starts building up lining. if your egg reaches your uterus and still has not been fertilized (or does not stick to the linng, then you start shedding the lining and this is your menstration. so the fact that you got your period probably means you are not pregnant.

maybe some really unusla situation took place but i wouldnt put money on it.

Nope!. you cant get pregnant when you have your period..even if it was the morning before you got your period.. you have to be ovulating to be pregnant..and that happens usually between the 12 to 16 day counting from the first day you got your period.. so like say you got your period today..june 10..you'll be ovulating somewhere between 22 and 26..this is assuming your cycles are regular and like 28 or a 29 cylce.. Ok.. so now.. you're not pregnant.. but if you want to get pregnant and your cycle is like what i said before.. try those days.. ;).. Goodluck
