Previously I saw a personal firewall for use at public hotspots. It had a Wifi connection to sign onto the public hotspot, and then an ethernet connection to connect to the PC (and seems to me another model had 2 wireless connections - one for hotspot, 1 for PC). It contained a NAT router which it used as a firewall to protect the PC. I didn't bookmark the page though, and now I can't find the item again.
Before I order the parts to go build one, has anyone seen one (and of course can you send me a link or model number) ?

Partsbucket - If I was making a hotspot or sharing internet access with a neighbor, I would probably do something like what you are describing. What I am looking for though is something to isolate my PC from other PCs logged in on the same wireless network. On the firewall, "WAN" would be the wireless, and "LAN" would be the ethernet port. Basic connection chain would be
ISP --- DSL modem --- hotspot router --- AP (...wireless connection...) Firewall --- laptop
It needs to be hardware that I can carry with me, and able to connect wirelessly to a public hotspot.
