Try these: Victor Loret, Gaston Maspero, D. O'Connor, N. C. Grimal, M. Bietak, Geraldine Pinch, Edward Blieberg, Paul T. Nicholson, Ian Shaw, W. Z. Wendrich, etc.

Just do a search of articles on egyptologists and scan for names and books, then search the index and bibliographies. I've given you some names of published people. When they give special mention, then pursue that name and his or her (notice there are more than a few women). There are piles of people, so next you look them up in your local library (what good is a source if you can't access it?). You've got some work ahead, go for it.

Others I'm sure will give you details of the famous Egyptologists and archaeologists, but here is something you may find interesting. The third of Philip Glass's biographical operas 'Akhnaten', based on the pharoh of the same name, caused a revival of interest in Egyptology when it was produced, in 1984.
