Every watch I look at is stainless steel, which I believe has nickel in it. I would just risk getting it anyway, but he breaks out in a rash- not a very happy birthday, right? lol.

Many people, including myself, are allergic to nickel. So many, in fact, that many places that sell watches, jewelry, etc., know which ones are okay for us. Most of the cheaper watches are the ones with nickel. Manufacturers have taken the nickel out of most metals that have to come in contact with our skin.

Stainless steel is perfectly fine. I am also allergic to nickel and I have no problems with stainless steel.
