Do people pick their favourite colours according to which colours look better on them?

some might but basically people chose them on which looks better to the eye or whick color matches their personality. like my fav color is pink. my is girly jus like me

People usually pick colours that suit them, but they have to choose from whatever colors are fashionable in the stores. I think bright colors are great and I love most of the new bright shades.

Apparently not - I see a lot of people wearing colors that make them look anemic/jaundiced/nauseated.
I have favorite colors to wear [ red, lemon yellow, orange ], and different favorites for my home [ more relaxing - soft yellow, sage green, smoke blue ].
My husband is really the only person I know whose favorites look good on him, and are the same as his 'home' colors.

i think people just like certain colors for certain reasons. we all think differently and have different brains so we all have different favorite colors, i don't think it has much of if it looks good on them. how would 5 year olds know that kind of stuff?

I think so, my favorite color is blue and so is half my wardrobe. Although I like purple but it clashes with my red hair.

yet my favorite color is lime green.

they choose their fav color becuase it is like them... i like aqua becuase its a bright color and bubbly. like me. i dont like pink because its girly, nothing like me.

yellow is my fav color becuase its bright and happy. but i aso like black because i have my dark side sometimes.

Yeah, i would think so.
