Does anyone know of a pet that is the size of a dog or cat but isn't and isn't too hard to take care of?

I want an animal an animal with a personality that i can take with me on walks and other places in my life but dogs and cats don't interest me that much. i've looked at pigs but most are too big or WAY too expensive. HeLp

I don't think that you have investigated dogs and cats thoroughly enough. There is a lot of variety there, in size, personality, etc .... For example, there is a lot of difference between a French Bulldog and a Rottwieler. There is a lot of difference between a hairless Devon Rex Cat and a Blanche Strangieri.

I don't see how you can say you aren't interested in cats and dogs. You must be thinking of them "generically"

But if you HAVE to get something non traditional try something that is a social animal naturally. Chinchilla or Prarie Dogs seem like a good idea, but I think you are going to find them to be a lot more trouble than you expect. They are not used to living with humans and will be very difficult to train.

Maybe you should wait a year or two and get a robopet.

TAZMANIAN DEVIL,No problem of being kidnapped in a parking lot or anywhere else and all you have to feed it is a dead chicken now and then and you will be the talk of the town,but you might not have many friends.

well, monkeys are about that size the little smart ones, they basically take care of themselves but id be kinda cautious sleeping when that thing is on the loose at nite, might try to kill ya in your sleep or somthing ore either scair the crap out of you, lol, good luck
