Whiteflies from neighbors plum tree. All over my yard. Any suggestions?

This may sound crazy but it is proven to work. Get a two litter preferably clear and fill it with water, then hang it up in the sunshine where the fly`s are known to cumulate. This scares the fly`s away.

white flies cause more damage to shrubs and trees than to lawns. if it becomes a heavy infestation you may have to spray an insecticide. i would wait and see. they will probably go away soon to eat some gardenias
