She is not a role model of mine. But i know enough about people to say that she is one that doesn't need to be punished that much she has been given her wake up call.

Ok... according to your answers we have to toughen up a bit. mmmmmm so she disrespected the law and should now respectably just do the time without self pity or falling apart. mmmmmmm I wouldn't be in that situation in the first place ... i'm not that irresponsible with my life... let alone another or others. Two weeks in jail, community service and a hefty fine... and some counciling in regard to encouraging her to truely learn the life lesson here. Don't take her priviledged life for granted. Because you can quickly loose it... Peace

I will admit that i did not have the full story ... she should be dignified and do the time 45 days and volunteer for community service.

If it had been her first offense I would agree with you that community service & a fine would be alright. The problem is that she did it again, signed an affadavit saying she understood that she was not allowed to drive on a suspended license and the next night was back out there driving drunk on a suspended license. 3 strikes, she should do her 45 days in jail which is a lot less than what you or I would have to do in the same situation. It's hard for me to feel sorry for her when she could take a limo out if she wants to drink, so she was just basically thumbing her nose at the law because she feels above it. She should be a woman and do what she has to do, get it over with and go right back to being a celebrity.

Yes she did not kill anyone, Thank God...she could have though. Community service is for people who have made a mistake, but are willing to learn from it at once. Paris was caught driving under the influence, judge gave her the usual punishment. She was caught driving with a suspended license, not once, but twice. A hefty fine for someone with so much money, it would have been seen as ridiculous. Sorry but, she was given several chances to get straight. She didn't, well then she deserves to go to jail, and maybe she'll learn this time.

Oh please cry that river somewhere else... the girl BLATANTLY disobeyed the rules of PROBATION not just ONCE but TWICE!!!!! Slap her on the hand and she learns NOTHING.... let her know that even rich, spoiled princess who break the laws get punished and MAYBE she learns something-----Ask ANY judge in this COUNTRY what they would have done if any REGULAR PERSON had ignored the courts rulings TWICE....they would have received MUCH more then 45 days in jail.... hey look the little twit had been DRINKING AND DRIVING---do you really want her out cruising around in her Mercedes while drinking when YOUR son or daughter might be out driving THEIR cars? I sure wouldn't. I'm sick of all the BOO HOOing for Ms. Hilton----she did the crime now let her do the time just like ANY OTHER PERSON would have to do in the same circumstancs....why is she any different? Why should she be treated BETTER? If you ask ME, she got off easy when she got her DUI---(the FIRST offense where she was giving the probation she IGNORED)...Instead of crying over a loser and I DO MEAN LOSER like Paris Hilton, why don't you spend a little more time crying over the young men and woman who were KILLED today over in IRAQ!!!!!

Every night I see people coming into ER who have been drinking and crashed or have been the victim of a drunken driver. Alcohol contributes to about 90% of the accident victims who arrive here broken and bleeding. Sometimes they recover, sometimes they die. Sometimes they end up in Nursing Homes or rehab centers or home for their families to take care of for the rest of their lives. Paraplegic, Quadraplegic, minus limbs....because someone thought it was not a "crime" to drive drunk. Often, the drunk who kills someone else gets thru the accident with fewer injuries because of being drunk...they go limp. I wish anyone who drinks and drives...a car, motorcycle, atv or snomobile could spend a week in an ER or viewing victims in a morgue. 45 days of jail time is a slap on the wrist for treating her previous convictions lightly.

lets just say If you or i broke our probation and disrespected the law what would happen? we would get sent to prison correct?

so why should Paris be any different? yeah she might be worth millions and have fame and be a role model for many but does that make her special enough to be able to break the law and get a lesser treatment than any other ordinary person?

She did the crime, she now does the time
she had chances and she broke them, so she now needs to pay for them? true?

45 days is nothing, a murderer gets life

It doesn't matter if it's the garbage man or the president, driving under the influence is a crime. She would not be doing time if she wasn't so arrogant and drove with a suspended license, sorry but that is the punishment when you are on probation

She was LUCKY she didn't kill anybody. Maybe you're lucky she didn't run you over or kill a family member while she was driving under the influence .....

She broke the law and she should pay the penalty that the judge laid down... bad luck if she cries about it.. bad luck if she starves herself .. this maybe the rude awakening that she needs..

You still don't have the full story, but I already answered your other question about getting Paris out of jail. Read it.

She is a partying, drinking, slutty, sex video releasing, drunk-driving, spoiled rich *****. She stays in jail.

Murderers don't get 45 days in jail. Drunk-driving, disrespectful, late to court people do.
