I love it when black/darker girls wear white shirts, especially if they have white teeth! It just looks so amazing. I also like deep purples and reds, too.

Light colors aren't automatically bad. On lighter people, colors like light blues, rich yellows, deep reds, and even stunning white can bring out the contrast in colors. For darker skinned people, dark colors look best because they help make the skin look lighter. Dark blues, greens, and purples are good choices.

i just wanted to add that i dont think bright colors = bad
a lot of times, they make a great contrast with dark skin and look stunning
i can wear a lot of colors that my would just make my lighter skinned friends look washed out.
i actually prefer bright colors to dark ones for darker skinned people.

Well, generally, for your skin tone, it's best if you wear warm/nude colors. If you want to wear light colors, i'll suggest you wear white..Anything negative and dark would suit you..Do not ever wear light yellow, pink or anything so light cause it won't really suit you..

'Black' is not enough description. So, do you look better in
WARM colors - ivory, tomato red, peach, orange, rust, golden yellow, lime, kelly, olive green, aqua, turquoise, teak, bright purple, caramel, or chocolate? or
COOL - white, pinks, cherry, coral, lemon, mint, jade, hunter green, baby, royal, or navy blue, lavender, eggplant, gray, or black?
Try lights, brights, and vivids or darks of these colors.

i would go with the darker and deeper colors like warm purples, blues, greens, and etc. and i also think u should go with colors 2 bring out ur eyes that would look so pretty.....Good Luck!!!!

Deep pinks (not so bright), gold, silver, they all look so good.
Specially gold as eye shadow

i dont think it matters but in general anything white/purple/metallic(not alienish but nice decent metallic is in now) look nice on anyone...i like baby blue as well
