Are dark pants better or light pants? And what shoes can I wear with them? I also have Bermuda like shorts that are tan and my friend suggested I should wear high heels, but I disagree because I'm going to the mall. I have no idea what to wear to the mall. help!!

Dark pants are definately better.
If i were you,
i'd wear either a dark denim jean that is very tailored or a charcoal to black tone of pants.
Pair it up with black heels and your good to go!
Don't choose a lighter colored pants and stay away from shorts or capris. Believe me, long pants will look the best.
Oh, and wear a big black beaded necklace to accent your shoes.

I think that your outfit will look really cute if you wore some white shorts or bermudas, and since you are going to the mall, I suggest you wear some comfy flip flops or some really low wedges.

Either dark with dark shoes, or light pants with light shoes. Shoes can match the top, bottom, or another accessory.Try fitted [ to balance the loose top ] slacks, capris, or shorts.
Bermuda shorts look cute with ballet flats, wedges, espadrilles, and some slip-ons.
Mall dressing - think comfy, cute and flattering!

I'd wear a grew baby doll shirt with white comfortable cotton pants and a pair of white plain platform sandals.
To accessorize, I'd wear big hoop earrings.
Plain, simple, and a touch of feminine.

no dont wear grey and tan together because those are two nuetrals and you shouldnt wear two nuetrals together
you should wear a colour on the bottom, like blue, because blue always looks good with grey

if the light pants are denim you should wear those because it doesn't look good if you put a dark and a light together its too harsh

khaki's would look nice, so would skinny leg jeans (tucked into a nice pair of boots??) also try a 3 quarter length plain denin skirt with a belt with finges.
