it might be. Liberals sure love that new block feature. I know of at least a half dozen that have blocked me and other conservatives so far because they do not like our opinions. At first liberals would only gang violate people they disagreed with in hopes of getting the accounts of all opposition suspended. But clearly that did not work to their statisfaction. Now they have a new weapon to silence the minority. Soon there are going to be questions on here like "I have zero proof that Bush committed any crimes, but we should impeach and execute him anyway" and about 45 liberal answers agreeing 100%. As a conservative I enjoy my crazy liberal friends. It is too bad that they cannot see the benefits of debate as I do. I never thought liberals would resort to crushing all alternative opinions until now. Perhaps liberals are right. Maybe we are becoming a fascist society.

This is far worse than even their most hysterical make-believe stories about the Patriot Act.

You are mistaken if you really believe that conservatives are the only ones being blocked, or that it is only liberals blocking. I am a liberal, and I have only blocked two people. The first one, was because he/she sent me a threatening email. The second was because that person blocked me, for no reason other than differing points of view! This kind of thing is a new tool, for the same kind of people who were previously being trolls, and clones, and stalking people, and harassing people, and reporting people for petty reasons. It happens to both sides, and the perpetrators are on both sides as well. *sm*

I don't consider myself left more than right. I agree with what I agree with, and sometimes I piss off everyone. But, dude, people blocking you doesn't have anything to do with some secret conspiracy to overthrow your conservatism. If people didn't want everyone's opinion, they wouldn't ask. I haven't read any of your answers, but perhaps it's in the way that you say things that's getting you blocked. Are you more pissed about being blocked, or that liberals just prefer to get things resolved, rather than trade insults? Judging by your question (which was 90% lashing out), I'd say it's your demeanor more than your political stance. Take a chill pill, and understand that everyone can have an opinion of their own, without standing all high and mighty over those who have different ones. We're never going to all get along, like Rodney King hoped for, so just chill. Politics aren't personal. Some people like war and some don't. I haven't persoanlly lost anyone close to me yet over the WMD, so I don't much care if we keep killing soldiers for nothing.

It sure is Matt, cons receive more frivolous violations and if you take a look at the profiles of the yahoo answer team, and their 360s you will notice a large liberal infulence and considering they come from San Fransisco, that sort of sums it up

Huh? I haven't blocked anyone, nor do I intend to.

Now, I do know a certain conservative who just blocked me. (Realgoodfolk). I enjoy a healthy debate, but the "Why do liberals hate America?" mantra is getting old quick.

I agree. Most of the libs on this site do not want debate. Many of them act like children on a playground calling others names. It's actually pretty funny. I pay no attention to these people because if they have been so easily programed to believe that the lefties are the only way, why waste your time trying to convince them to believe the truth.

There is one whiner on this site who not only bashes anyone who is conservative, but he will load your e-mail up with crap, calling you chickenshit for not feeding into his lies.

I think if you see questions from these people (and you know you they are) don't answer them. Let the libs have their little chat room and only answer questions from intelligent people who want a true debate, not a bunch of people agreeing with them.

I have not blocked you and I am a liberal. I will say I have often been less than impressed with your bias in posting but, hey, it is your right to believe what you want.
As far as the blocking goes, only cons have blocked me and most of the time I try to post a well though out response to their questions and try to offer a valid argument for my point of view. I do this without resorting to name calling or calling people crazy for thinking like they do.

"......I enjoy my crazy ......"

Without the blocking feature these insecure children would be covering their ears and screaming LA-LA-LA-LA-LA_LA-LA... Tolerance is something libs think everyone else should have for them. When have you ever seen a liberal willing to listen to an opposing point of view? Many conservatives are routinely shouted down when speaking at colleges. Shutting out ideas different from your own is necessary when they make your ideas look shabby by comparison.

bleh. i'm liberal, but you're dealing with the... dumb ones.
people shouldn't have to accept others' beliefs, but should at least listen to them and respect them.

and, currently, i see no benefits of debate because the spectrum is so wide and both sides are so stubborn. that meaning; that no matter what i say to you, you will have an oft-said response, and vice versa, and neither side learns anything. you know how i think, and i know how you think.

but overall, i disagree with your question and would advise thinking before posting such a stereotypical and closeminded question.

the reason liberals are so dumb, sir, is because conservatives are the same way.

What are you talking about?! I think this is one of Yahoo's
worst ideas yet.
I was reported & blocked today by one of your friends,
Realgoodfolk.
If you would have asked if this happened to anyone, maybe
people could get together on this issue, instead of wasting
time blaming each other.

I have no intention of blocking anyone.
