well we have a dance coming up and its formal but i dont really want to dress formal so i found a cute lil dress...and yess its short its a think tank top like slinky material its hot pink and black and when i put my arms straight it is just at my finger tips...is this too skanky for a dance or what?

I agree that it depends on you. We really need a picture of you in it to tell. For me, that would be a good length. If you do decide to wear it, though, please wear pretty bikini underwear instead of a thong or something - in case you do end up flashing, you don't want to look super skanky. (I always make sure I wear decent underwear if my dress is above the knee.)

doesn't sound very skanky, just fun. because its a formal party, the material should be nice, and sounds like it is. just go in front of a full length mirror, with ur back facing the mirror, bend over as much as u can, and peep through your legs. if you see underwear or a$$, you might want to reconsider. But if it reaches fingertips, it doesn't sound too short. sounds pretty nice lol, but it'd be better to know if u showed like a pic or something (like dillards.com or w/e). have fun at ur dance :)

Wish we could see you in it. You are the one that will either make it cute or skanky. If I wore it, it would look skanky. Anything off-the-hook like that makes me look cheap. But maybe you can get away with it and make it your own, ya know? If possible, send a pic.....

Sounds cute to me! Practice dance moves first, to make sure your butt doesn't fall out during them!
Add silver, black, or pink earrings, maybe some bangles, and cute shoes to dance in [ pink/black/silver ballet flats, or peep toes? ]
Don't wear patterned stockings; that WOULD look skanky.
Guys like too see hair down, as a rule; so if you're single, in a bright dresss, with good legs and loose hair, ......

It depends wat u look like in it. If I were wearing it, I'd look skanky to tell the truth. Hope you have fun at ur dance too. But try something a little longer then to b on the safe side.
