I would be out of place in both but I would go with New York for the cultural venues

New York! I visit there so often I practically live there, but with out the high rent! I dont know where people get this idea that New Yorkers are mean people. They have all been nice to me so far

I live in California, I love that I have easy access to the beaches, mountains, etc. and that everything is freeway close. I'd be willing to try NYC for 6 months. My 1st stop would be Gray's Papaya for one of their hot dogs. Their place has been mentioned in both movies and TV shows that I've watched.
